Public Input Needed To Define Lake Bluff Golf Club's Future
The Lake Bluff Park District wants community comment before deciding what to do with the Lake Bluff Golf Club.

LAKE BLUFF, IL — The viability of Lake Bluff's publicly owned golf course has been studies for decade, and now the public has a chance to weigh in on what to do with the place. The Lake Bluff Park District Board of Commissioners invited resident to share their thoughts about the future of the Lake Bluff Golf Club during a pair of upcoming meetings.
The district is considering whether the district should keep the club operational and keep offering golf at the club, Board President Rob Douglass announced. He said the board is committed to listening to comments from residents during its decision-making process.
Everyone who wants to speak will be allotted three minutes for comments. Plus, the public can submit questions at one of the meetings and the answers will be posted later to the Lake Bluff Park District website.

The district said it will not make any decisions until the board has completed the thorough hearing process.

Public Lake Bluff Golf Club Meetings:
- 7-9 p.m., Monday, Feb. 26.
- 7-9 p.m., Monday, March 5
Both events will be held at the Lake Bluff Park District Gymnasium, 355 W Washington Ave.
