"Rain, Rain Go THIS Way!" hosted by League of Women Voters

Flooding and erosion are two expensive, destructive results from heavy rain fall. There are various steps you can take to mitigate these and other problems caused by storm water. The League of Women Voters - Lake Forest/Lake Bluff is hosting a program "Rain, Rain Go THIS Way!" on Monday, June 30, 7:00 pm at Elawa Farm. Hear three expert speakers who will explain both the issues and some reasonable and attractive solutions. They range from the simple to more comprehensive landscaping designs. Other large scale problems include water pollution from runoff, ravine and bluff failure, and closed beaches.
