Reading Power Open Houses Scheduled for March 10th and March 12th
Stop by between 9-11 a.m. and see our program in action! RSVP in advance necessary.

Studies show that children who get off to a poor start in learning to read rarely catch up and the consequences can be devastating. In fact, studies show that two-thirds of children who are not reading at grade level by fourth grade will end up in jail or on welfare.
Children’s literacy nonprofit Reading Power believes that all children deserve to reach their intellectual potential. Reading Power provides one-to-one literacy tutoring for struggling readers in prekindergarten through second grade in North Chicago and Zion, Illinois, and Beaufort, South Carolina. Since its founding in 2003, Reading Power has tutored more than 3,500 children.
Reading Power will be hosting Open Houses on March 10th and March 12th from 9 to 11 in North Chicago for supporters, donors and potential volunteers who would like to see our one-to-one literacy tutoring in action!
