Reading Power Tutors Needed
You can make a difference in the life of a child! Become a volunteer tutor!
Reading Power, Inc., a nonprofit literacy tutoring program working one-to-one with elementary school children in North Chicago and Zion schools, is seeking volunteers to tutor prekindergarten, kindergarten, first, and second grade students one half-day (am or pm) per week during the school year. No experience necessary; a love for children and reading is required; initial and on-going training is provided by reading professionals.
