Stolen Car Crashes Into Beach Park Home: Sheriff's Office
A Chevy stolen from Wisconsin with three Lake County teens inside crashed into a home on Sheridan Road early Thursday, authorities said.

BEACH PARK, IL — Three teenagers in a stolen car suffered minor injuries Thursday after crashing into a Beach Park home, authorities said. Shortly before 3 a.m. sheriff's deputies got word that a car had left the road and struck a house in the 37600 block of North Sheridan Road.
Deputies determined there were three people inside the car at the time of the crash, including a 14-year-old Beach Park boy, a 16-year-old Zion boy and an 18-year-old Zion man, according to the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
The 2008 Chevrolet Impala was headed south on Sheridan Road when the driver lost control and crashed into an occupied home, according to the sheriff's office. No one inside the home was injured.

Two of the three people inside were trapped inside the car and needed to be extricated by firefighters, while the other was able to make it out the wreck.

The car had been reported stolen from Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Wednesday, according to the sheriff's office.

Kenosha police were called to the crash site to collect evidence, and criminal charges remained pending Thursday.
