Strangulation Suspect Held Victim Inside Car: Cops
Police charged the 32-year-old Lake Forest man with aggravated domestic battery and unlawful restraint.

LAKE FOREST, IL - A Lake Forest man is accused of battering a woman then keeping her inside his car against her will earlier this month.
Police in Lake Forest responded to a call from a third party at 7:07 p.m. on May 4 near IL routes 94 and 60 and eventually found Michael A. Threatte, 32, of the 1500 block of Littlefield Court with the victim inside his car. At Route 176 and St. Mary’s Road. The caller told police Threatte battered the woman and refused to let her out of the car.
The woman told police Threatte strangled and struck her. Threatte was also wanted on a Lake County warrant.
