This event is a run through the Lake Forest Open Lands' Skokie River Nature Preserve in Lake Forest, IL. The run will be a community event on a beautiful scenic trail. It will be a Green race meaning that there will be no harm to the area and everything about the race will be managed ecologically. The purpose of the run is to introduce runners and walkers to Lake forest Open Lands and the pleasure of running in such bucolic, natural surroundings.
All proceeds from the race will benefit Lake Forest Open Lands Association.
We offer t-shirts, goody bags, food and drinks, raffle, CARA discount, and a USATF Certified course.
We are CARA Certified as well as CARA Green Certified.
