Teen Girls From Chicago Flee Lake Forest Police: Cops

Police respond to two separate incidents of battery at Lake Forest College.

The following information is from the Lake Forest Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Phillip J. Malone, 21, Highland Park was stopped at Deerpath and Hastings at 4:07 a.m. on Feb. 21 and charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of cannabis. An officer stopped a car driven by Maione for driving without a taillight. Cocaine and marijuana were found in the car and Maione was taken into custody.

THEFT WARRANT

Detectives took Nancy J. Spinks, 45, 1310 Gavin Court into custody near her home on an outstanding Texas warrant for felony theft at 7 p.m. on Feb. 11. She was transported to Lake County Jail pending extradition to Texas.

FLEEING A POLICE OFFICER

An officer stopped a car driven by a female juvenile with four juvenile passengers out after curfew at 1:10 a.m. on Feb. 6. While the officer was speaking with the occupants, the driver drove away but left the roadway soon thereafter. All five occupants fled on foot but were taken into custody. The driver of the car was charged with improper lane usage, fleeing a police officer, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, operating an uninsured vehicle, violation of curfew and improper use of her instructional permit. She was processed and released on bond to a parent. All four teen passengers were cited for violating curfew and released to a parent or guardian. The females were all 15- and 16-year olds from Chicago.

BATTERY

Nicholas D. Behrens, 20, Woodstock was charged with battery at 1:20 a.m. on Jan. 24 at Lake Forest College. Police responded to a report of an argument that turned physical when Behrens punched another subject. Officers interviewed numerous witnesses, reviewed security video of the incident and charged Behrens with battery.

Dallia Dzambo, 19, Chicago was charged with battery at 2:03 a.m. on Jan. 23 at Lake Forest College. Police responded for a report of a battery. After speaking with numerous witnesses, Dzambo was taken into custody and charged with battery.
