Join us next Thursday, May 21st at 7:00 p.m. for “The Truth About Heroin... Continued” featuring Lake County States Attorney Mike Nerheim and a panel of experts including Dennis Wichern, Special Agent in Charge of the DEA Chicago Field Office and Dr. Adam Rubinstein of Condell Medical Center.

Unfortunately, Lake Forest and Lake Bluff are not immune to the heroin epidemic that has developed in the Chicago area. We hope you will join us to learn more about this epidemic and about the solutions that have been put into place through LEAD, the Lake County Opioid Initiative, and other agencies throughout the county.

LEAD has been recognized by SAMHSA for its prevention efforts, and was awarded an unsolicited community stipend to develop a program in line with National Prevention Week. We hope to see you for this important event next Thursday night.
