Just ask Paul Friday.
For 45 years, he's been growing his Flamin' Fury peaches on his farm in Coloma, MI.

He once grew a peach so large--six inches across, weighing two pounds--David Letterman called. He wanted Friday to bring his peach to New York.
"He called and asked me to bring the world's largest peach on his show," said Friday. "I told him I ate it in 2003.

No peach, no Letterman. But that peach does have the distinction of being the world's largest, according to the Guinness Book of World Records. Friday talked to Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Patch about Letterman and his peaches in this YouTube interview.
You can meet Friday and buy his Flamin' Fury peaches at the which runs 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through Sept. 24.
