Road work is scheduled to begin on July 10.

LAKE FOREST, IL — Western Avenue in Lake Forest will close temporarily for redevelopment next month, with Focus Development scheduled to begin work between Laurel Avenue and Franklin Place on July 10.
During the first stage of the project, which is expected to last about 10 days, Western Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic in this area between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. to allow the installation of a new storm sewer, the City of Lake Forest announced Thursday.
Pedestrians will be directed to an alternate route, and Western Avenue will be open for traffic during the evening and overnight hours.
