"When Love Doesn't Conquer All" - A Morning with Jim Kling

A workshop for parents

Want to set fair but firm boundaries with children? Do you wish children came with an instructional manual for behavior? Do teenagers ever leave you feeling crazy?

Join us on November 5, 9:30-11:30 AM, for a morning with behaviorist, James Kling. Mr. King received his M.A. in Special Education from Northeastern Illinois University and has been actively working in the field of behavioral psychology for over twenty years.

The Workshop:

LEAD and SpeakUp! are hosting a free interactive workshop, which will provide effective, concrete techniques for families and professionals working with children and adolescents that experience behavioral problems. Jim Kling will discuss practical applications of techniques that can be used to create environments of mutual respect and cooperation with effective rules, responsibilities and consequences.

If you are a parent or professional who feels like you are frequently walking on eggshells or that you provoke rude and disrespectful responses from children; this workshop is for you. Come learn what you can do to establish a healthy, respectful, cooperative and fun relationship with your child/children.
