Woman Arrested for Domestic Stabbing Incident: Police

Teenage boys damaged property and injured complainant.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

Shanna H. Powers, 51, 1061 S. Ridge Rd. was arrested for domestic battery with great bodily harm and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon at 3 p.m. on December 27 in the 1000 block of Ridge Rd. Powers was taken into custody after she was found to have stabbed an adult resident in the hand with a kitchen knife.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF CANNABIS

Donald M. Ledbetter, 56, Niles was stopped at 5:13 p.m. on January 2 at IL ROute 60 and Waukegan Road for driving with expired registration. He was taken into custody when cannabis and drug paraphernalia were found in his car and cited for felony unlawful possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and expired registration.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

David J. Lepska, 41, Twin Lakes, Wisc. was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and cited for improper lane usage and failing to signal at 3:48 a.m. on January 1 at IL Route 41 and Gage Lane. Lepska admitted to drinking, failed field sobriety testing and was taken into custody. He later produced a breath sample indicating a blood alcohol content of 0.141.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

The juvenile boys, aged 15, 16 and 17 - all of Lake Forest - were charged with battery and criminal damage to property for their role in an incident in the 700 block of North Sheridan Road on December 20 in which a subject was struck by several teens who also broke a window at the home.
