Woman Pawned Bracelets Stolen From LF Home: Cops

Teen found passed out drunk at Rosemary Road residence. Underage drinking citations made at Lake Forest College.

FELONY THEFT

Candice N. Faassen, 29, Lake Villa was arrested on two counts of felony theft at 8:30 a.m. February 20 by Lake Forest police at her home in Lake Villa.

On January 15, police took a report from a home in the 0 block of Rue Foret of several bracelets taken from the house during the day. Detectives discovered Faassen, who had been working at the home that day, had pawned two of the bracelets at a pawn shop in another community. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Faassen on February 17 and arrested her at her home on the morning of February 20. She was charged with two counts of felony theft, processed, and transported to Lake County Jail for a bond hearing.

A 16-year-old girl was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor at 11:31 p.m. February 13 in the 500 block of East Rosemary. Officers and an ambulance responded to a home in the 500 block of Rosemary for an intoxicated teen who had passed out.

CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL BY MINORS

Max M. Livingstone-Peters, 18, Salisbury, Vt. and Reid M. Martin, 19, Lake Oswego, Ore. were cited with consumption of alcohol by a minor at 2:30 a.m. on February 22 at Lake Forest College. Police responded to Lake Forest College at 2:30 a.m. on February 22 for a report of a false fire alarm pulled there. Officers spoke to Livingstone‐Peters and Martin. Both had been drinking and were cited for consumption of alcohol by a minor.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF CANNABIS

Mareena Good, 24, 29 Farnham Lane was stopped at IL Route 41 at Middlefork at 8:51 p.m. on February 20 and cited for driving while suspended, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful transportation of alcohol and unlawful possession of cannabis. An officer stopped Good for a registration violation and she was taken into custody when she was found to be driving on a suspended driver’s license. Cannabis, a smoking pipe and an open bottle of alcohol were also found.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Pineda M. Velazquez, 24, North Chicago was stopped at IL Route 41 at Deerpath at 10:30 p.m. on February 13 and charged with driving while license suspended. Velazquez was stopped driving a car without valid registration and was taken into custody when he was found to have a suspended driver’s license.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Jasmine Barrera, 22, Libertyville was stopped at IL Route 60 at Field Court at 12:27 a.m. on February 11 by an officer for driving without a tail light and taken into custody when she was found to be driving on a suspended driver’s license.
