Ah, yes, Illinois fiscal policy! That subject that everyone is talking about and wishes more were being done about it. The League of Women Voters-Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Area is hosting a meeting about the Graduated Rate Income Tax. Nothing like a hot topic to ward off the chilly weather. There will be a 40 minute presentation followed by time for questions. The meeting is on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 10:30 a.m. The program is open to the public, but please email contact@lwv-lflb.org for address, and so we can have an accurate count for handouts and refreshments.
