Young Adult Mystery Author Jessica A. Gunderson

Young Adult Mystery Author and LFC Student Jessica A. Gunderson will hold a book signing and presentation at Gorton on November 16

Sunday, November 16 at 3 p.m.

Ages 8-11

Lake Forest College Student, Gorton Community Center Intern, and Young Adult Mystery Author Jessica A. Gunderson began writing her mystery series at the age of 13, and she has published FIVE novels to date! Jessica tours local elementary schools to promote her novels and to share with students the importance of reading and writing.

Gorton is happy to host Jessica’s book signing and presentation as she talks to students about the writing, editing, publishing, and marketing processes behind making her novels come to life! She will also read excerpts from her novels, teach students how to be top-notch detectives through interactive activities, and sign novels for students following her presentation.

This is a FREE EVENT for students ages 8 to 11. Registration is required at www.gortoncenter.org. Parents MUST attend with their children. Books are $5 each and will be available for purchase at the event. All proceeds will be donated to Gorton Community Center.
