Two are accused of stealing a woman's jacket and credit card from inside the Cubs' stadium, then ambushing a police officer when confronted.

CHICAGO, IL - Two people were charged with felonies recently after police say they stole a jacket and credit card from a victim at Wrigley Field and attacked a police officer who confronted them.

Hector Mendoza, 24 and Sergio Hernandez, 26 - both of the 3100 block of N. Hamilin - were charged following the disturbance at Grace and Kenmore, just a couple of blocks north of Wrigley Field.

According to police, a woman at Wrigley Field had her jacket stolen from Mendoza, who fled northbound on Kenmore Ave. When a nearby police officer attempted to stop Mendoza, he was "ambushed" by Hernandez.
