Dead Body Discovered On Montrose Harbor Dog Beach

The body of an adult male was found by a Chicago Park District worker Friday morning.

CHICAGO, IL — A Chicago Park District worker discovered a dead body Friday morning on the dog beach at Montrose Harbor, the Chicago Tribune reports. Area Central Detectives are investigating, and police believe the unidentified man could have been homeless, the report added.

The body was found by the employee at around 3:30 a.m. lying in the sand on the beach in the 500 block of West Montrose Drive, the report stated. Emergency crews responding to the call pronounced the individual — an adult male — dead at the scene, the report added.
