Englewood Man Tried to Burglarize Lake View Home: Cops
Delvon McCune, 24, is charged with attempted burglary and is being held on $200,000 bail.

CHICAGO, IL — A 24-year-old Englewood man is accused of trying to break in and burglarize a home in Lake View earlier this week, according to Chicago police.
Delvon McCune, of the 6800 block of South Hermitage Avenue, was arrested and charged with attempted burglary, a felony. Bail was set at $200,000, and he's currently being held at Cook County Jail, according to sheriff's office records.
At about 7:22 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, McCune allegedly tried to break in through the back door of a 33-year-old man's residence in the 800 block of West Aldine Avenue, police said. McCune only managed to damage the door and was taken into custody a short distance from the scene, the police report added.
