Lake View Businesses Robbed By Man With Knife
Police are investigating two North Side robberies.

CHICAGO, IL — Police are investigating two robberies that happened on the city's North Side over the weekend. Both businesses were threatened by a man wielding a knife, police said. The suspect targeted a dry cleaners and a vitamin shop.
Around 11 a.m. on Saturday, a man walked into the Best Price Dry Cleaners on Wells Street near Division, police said. The suspect pulled out a knife and demanded cash, before taking off, police said.
Police said a suspect robbed a vitamin shop in the 3300 block of Ashland and Lake View Saturday. The man threatened a woman behind the register with a knife, police said. He then took off with cash from the register and store safe.

No one was hurt in the robberies. Police said they have not confirmed whether the robberies are connected.
