Lyft Driver Accused of Groping Lake View Woman

The 21-year-old was fired and now charged with intimidation after prosecutors say he left the woman threatening voicemails.

Chicago, IL - A Lake View woman was “terrified for her safety” following a series of incidents involving her Lyft driver, prosecutors said in charging a 21-year-old Chicago man with intimidation.

Momen Hamdan, the now fired Lyft driver, is accused of telling the victim in a voicemail "Listen, b----. You got them to fire me at Lyft. I'm going to f--- your a-- up," according to a DNAinfo Chicago report. Prosecutors said Hamdan kissed the victim in the cheek and asked personal questions about her love life during a ride to the victim’s residence on May 31, causing the victim to alert Lyft.

The DNAinfo report says that prosecutors claim Hamdan told the woman she was beautiful during the ride and asked her to sit in the front seat so he could pick up more passengers, but no passengers were picked up. Hamdan is alleged to have touched the woman’s upper thigh without permission and kissed her on the cheek just before dropping her off.
