Man Tried to Disarm Cop in Lake View: Police
The altercation with police came after he allegedly punched a woman.
CHICAGO, IL - A 29-year-old man is accused of punching a woman and attempting to disarm a police officer.
Lamar Brown was charged early Saturday morning with attempted robbery, two counts of aggravated battery, attempting to disarm a peace officer and resisting arrest after an incident in the 900 block of West Belmont around 3:05 a.m., according to an ABC-7 report.
Police say they were alerted to the area by a 29-year-old woman who said Brown struck her with a closed fist.
