• How to Get Mental Health Services Through 911 (borderlessmag.org) — Lakeview residents are increasingly using Chicago's CARE program, which sends mental health professionals and EMTs instead of police to certain 911 calls. Since expanding citywide in May, CARE responses are up 51%, with many calls coming from Lakeview and nearby neighborhoods, giving locals a clearer path to compassionate crisis support.
