Police Warn Of Armed Robberies In Lake View
Police said a robber is holding victims at gunpoint on the North Side.
CHICAGO, IL — Police have issued a community alert for North Side residents after a string of robberies in Lake View. In each robbery, police said the suspect held the victim at gunpoint and demanded their property. Police said the victims were walking alone after leaving a nearby bar or CTA train station.
The robberies happened in the following locations:
• 3100 block of North Halsted on March 23 at 4:30 a.m.

• 3000 block of North Pine on March 23 at 11:45 p.m.
• 800 block of West Newport on March 25 at 11:00 p.m.
