Robber Attacks People In Lake View

CHICAGO, IL — A man attacked people in back-to-back robberies in Lake View Wednesday night, police said. The robber pistol-whipped victims in the 3700 block of North Marshfield and the 1600 block of West Waveland around 11:45 p.m., according to police. In each robbery, the man went up to victims, showed a silver handgun and demanded their property, police said.

He then struck them in the face and head before taking off, according to police.

One of the victims reported that the robber was in a black Ford Escape before the attacks.
