Chicago, IL - The great pizza debate. That is, of course, whether Chicago or New York City serves up the best pies in the country. But beginning Thursday, you can get a slice of one in the other. Paulie Gee’s, a popular pizza chain from Brooklyn, will open its first Chicago location Thursday in the city’s Logan Square neighborhood, according to the Chicago Eater and other reports.

Paulie Gee’s serves wood-fired New York-style pies in a pair of Stefano Ferrera ovens that come from Italy.
The menu at the new Logan Square location (at 2451 N. Milwaukee Ave.) will feature many of the same names known well to Brooklynites, like the Greenpointer, the Thrilla in Manilla and the Brian DeParma.

But it will also localize with an offering of “Logan Squares” - described by the Eater as “square-cut Detroit-inspired slices.”
