St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Mark Reynolds hit a batting practice home run so far on Sunday that it did not stop until it smashed the window of one Waveland Avenue resident, the Sun-Times and other media report.

The note attached to the broken window states that the owner is going to inform Reynolds’ mother about the incident. Even though he’s playing in one of the biggest stages in baseball, stern words from mom about not breaking nice things may be in order for the 32-year-old.
