Woman Attacked While Jogging In Lake View
The attack happened on the path near Recreation Drive on Sunday morning, police said.
CHICAGO — A 30-year-old woman was attacked while she was jogging on the North Side Sunday, police said. She was running along the path near the 3700 block of North Recreation Drive around 8 a.m., when a man grabbed her and threw her to the ground, police said.
The woman was able to fight the man off, and he fled the scene in an unknown direction, police said.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s, standing 5-foot-8 to 6 feet tall and weighing 170 to 190 pounds. He has shoulder-length dreadlocks, a dark complexion, and was wearing a red t-shirt and khaki pants, police said.
