Woman Carjacked In Lake View: Reports
It happened on Saturday night on the 1000 block of West Barry Avenue, media outlets said.
LAKE VIEW, IL — A woman was carjacked while sitting in her car in Chicago's Lake View neighborhood on Saturday night, multiple media outlets reported.
The woman was in a Chevy Cruze on the 1000 block of West Barry Avenue around 7:30 p.m. when a man walked up to the car and implied he had a gun, news outlets said. He drove off with her belongings, including her laptop, cellphone and cash, media reported.
Police later found the car empty on the 3000 block of West Lexington Street in Lawndale neighborhood, local media reported.
