Wrigley Field to Add Metal Detectors This Year
Extra security precaution added to all entrances at the ballpark this year.

CHICAGO, IL - If you’ve got plans to see the Chicago Cubs at home in 2016, you’ll have to deal with increased security measures including metal detectors.
The Cubs announced Thursday they are adding metal detectors at all Wrigley Field gates “as part of a league-wide initiative to increase and standardize security procedures at each Major League ballpark.”
“This enhanced security screening will be in place by Opening Day 2016 and is in addition to the current bag check already in place,” according to a team statement.
