The YouTube video from the dashboard mounted camera captures a quiet street scene with cars driving by in the background with barely a breeze stirring a blade of grass.

As the video approaches the 1:20 mark, a woman walks by and glances over her shoulder at something off camera.

Two young males appear, an older male wearing a baseball cap and dark shirt who appears to be in his late teens or early 20s is seen walking sideways next to a small sedan.

The younger male who appears to be in his mid-teens wearing a white t-shirt emerges walking on the parkway grass.

At 1:20 into the video, the older male fires a handgun off camera. After firing five shots, the sedan speeds up and the two males chase it a half-block.

The older male gets into the car as the younger teen in the white t-shirt continues running ahead, prompting one commenter to call the driver of the sedan, “the worst getaway driver ever.”

According to the Chicago Tribune, neighbors in the Albany Park area called police to report shots being fired, but no one was hit. Police would not confirm if gunfire was exchanged.

The YouTube user albowrx further explains that the “other side not shown in the video clip got in 3 shots and you can see them when they hit the asphalt. The car is a 2002 or older Honda Accord.”
