• No injuries reported after sailboat capsizes on Crystal Lake (lakemchenryscanner.com) — Lakewood residents may have noticed emergency crews on Crystal Lake Wednesday evening after a sailboat capsized, but fortunately both boaters were uninjured. Crystal Lake firefighters and Lakewood police quickly reached the pair, who were properly dressed and wearing life jackets, then declined hospital transport. Officials are using the close call to remind boaters to match their gear to weather and water conditions.
