The Chardonnay Run Celebrates With Wine At The Finish Line

Grab your running shoes and your friends as you enjoy a sunset race at The Chardonnay Run (http://www.thechardonnayrun.com/)! This new, national 5K wine racing series, which comes to Grant Park on Saturday, June 27th, is an athletic social event that rewards runners with wine at the finish line! The untimed run focuses on serving up fun to all its participants. Runners can cheers with a commemorative glass as they sip on delicious Chardonnay from Barefoot Wine. The party continues after the 5K with a post-race bash featuring wine, food, live music and more fun festivities for runners and spectators alike. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Surfrider Foundation, a charity focused on preserving the world’s oceans.

Grant Park is located at 337 E. Randolph Dr. Chicago, IL 60601. Start times are 5:00 pm, 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
