Chick-fil-A to Open Kildeer Location Next Week

The first 100 in line at the new location will receive one-year of free Chick-fil-A.

A new Chick-fil-A restaurant is opening next week in Kildeer.

The Kildeer location will open at 20429 North Rand Road on Oct. 9. The first 100 adults in line at the new restaurant by 6 a.m. on opening day will receive a one-year supply of Chick-fil-A meals. The restaurant will give a digital offer card loaded with 52 free meals to each of the first 100 in line.

Participants must be 18 years or older with identification and are not allowed to line up earlier than 24 hours prior to the opening.

If there are more than 100 people when the line opens at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct.8, at the Kildeer location, all 100 spots will be determined by a drawing with those selected needing to camp out to secure their spot in line.All of the rules can be viewed online.

Many people bring tents, flat screen TVs and recliners to make their camping experience more enjoyable, according to Chick-fil-A representatives.

Bring Unused Children’s Books to New Restaurant

Kildeer Chick-fil-A Operator Allen Ordeanu is collecting unused children’s books at the new restaurant on Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. The new books will be placed in the Book House, created from old and thrown out wood, to serve as a free library exchange.

Ordeanu will select an organization in the community to receive the nearly three-foot-high Book House.
