District 95 Names New Assistant Superintendent of Business and Operations
Vicky Cullinan is no stranger to District 95, with prior 12 years of service.

Vicky Cullinan is the new full-time assistant superintendent of business and operations of Community Unit School District 95, the board announced at its Thursday night meeting.
“I’m looking forward to bringing continuity to the district, re-establishing relationships, making new ones, and having a positive impact on the district and students,” said Cullinan, a Gurnee resident.
Michael Engel had been serving as interim assistant superintendent of business and operations for the district and has taken a full-time position in Hazel Crest. Engel took over for Jeff King, who left District 95 in February to become chief operations officer with Elgin School District U-46.

“We would like to thank Mike Engel for all your help,” said Kathy Brown, board president.
This will be Cullinan’s second time being employed with District 95. She previously served the district for 12 years until the year 2000. Cullinan was the director of transportation for 11 years and assistant business manger for two years.

She moved on to Antioch District 34, where she was associate superintendent of business and auxiliary services for 11 years.
“Her background and experience will be a great addition,” said Michael J. Egan, superintendent of District 95.
Cullinan received her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Illinois and her master’s degree in education as a certified school business official from Northern Illinois University.
She will start on Her first day begins on Friday, July 1.
“We welcome her back to District 95,” said Egan.
