Man Dies After Being Electrocuted While Trimming Trees: Authorities
The 67-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene near Wauconda on Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
LAKE COUNTY, IL -- A Wauconda-area man is dead after he was electrocuted while trimming trees in the area of Bonner Road and Jackson Avenue on Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
According to the Lake County Sheriff's Office, the 67-year-old man from unincorporated Wauconda was on a ladder about 15 feet above ground when a branch is believed to come in contact with live wire at about 4 p.m., NBC Chicago is reporting.

Authorities say the man was electrocuted by the wire and died at the scene, according to media reports.
Foul play is not suspected and the death, officials said, is believed to be an unfortunate accident, WGN TV is reporting.
