Don't Steal My Prom Dress!
Volle's Bridal & Boutique makes sure prom-bound gals aren't wearing the same dress at the same prom.
One of the most popular destinations in Illinois for designer prom dresses, will soon be celebrating their 40th anniversary in Lake Zurich.
"Customers come from surrounding communities and as far away as the south side of Chicago for our dresses" said Volle's Consultant Pamela Rowell.
"I heard this was a great place," said customer Nicole Ingram of Barrington.

"I saw their advertisement in promguide.com and their dresses are really unique," said Hannah Goldman of Winnetka.
Rowell said that Volle's maintains a registry of every prom dress that they've sold, as well as which prom each customer will be attending, so as to avoid two girls showing up at the same prom in the same dress. Facebook also has a "Don't Steal My Dress" group, and prom-bound gals post photos of their dresses to avoid any "double trouble." Rowell explained that if the dress you like is already posted for your school's prom, the proper etiquette is to move on and keep looking.

"This year the dresses are long and it's all about the color, pattern and textures," said Rowell. When asked what the most outrageous dress request for prom has been, she said, "We've gotten a few requests for animal prints."
Volle's is also currently putting together the details for their 40th Anniversary party on June 25.
"We're in the midst of planning something big," said Rowell.
Lake Zurich's prom will be held May 21st at the Lincolnshire Marriott.
