This workshop, led by Kathleen Rankhorn, E-RYT 200, promotes a healthy and harmonious flow to your energy system through nine exercises that focus primarily on breathing techniques. You will learn a conscious breathing practice and simple exercises to regulate your inner energy in preparation for meditation. These nine exercises can be a meditation in themselves or an effective body-mind relaxation and focusing practice used to transform your energy.The exercises are done seated in a chair or on the floor. Bring a yoga mat or meditation cushion if you have one; otherwise one will be provided. No yoga or meditation experience is needed. If you think you can not do yoga due to injury of stiffness this workshop is for you. People from all ages and fitness levels have benefitted from taking this workshop. 2 hours of continuing education hours offered for registered Yoga Alliance teachers.
