Garden Club of Lake Zurich March Meeting: Ornamental Vegetable Gardening

There is always more to learn about vegetable gardening. Find out the latest, up-to-date information about growing vegetables and how to incorporate them into your flower beds when space is at a minimum. This program will be presented by Nick Nichaud, Head Gardener of a 50-acre private garden in Long Grove since 1995. He has a degree in Ornamental Horticulture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has studied and interned at the Chicago Botanical Garden, Old Westbury Gardens in New York and the Royal Horticultural Society Gardens at Wisley, outside of London. Refreshments and a short business meeting discussing community projects and upcoming events will follow. This meeting is free and open to the public. All levels of gardeners are welcome. Enter Saint Matthew's Church in front of the building at door #12. For more information, contact 847-550-0329.
