Tickets Go On Sale Monday, April 5 for This High Energy, Family-Friendly Musical 

Who:               Lake Zurich High School drama students take the stage for their much anticipated, annual spring musical, “Once Upon a Mattress.”

What:              “Once Upon a Mattress,” a Tony award-winning musical written by Mary Rodgers with lyrics by Marshall Barer is a fun, lighted-hearted musical comedy and wacky spin on the fairy tale classic, “Princess and the Pea.”  The central storyline follows an over-bearing queen who tries her best to prevent her son from marrying the brash and brazen Princess Winnifred the Woebegone of the Swamps.  Other characters include a mute king, an evil wizard, an egotistical knight and beautiful lady in waiting, among others.
