Paper Crafting 101 - Card Making

Celebrate National Postcard Week by making a postcard.

Learn card making skills while drawing inspiration from the Museum’s vast postcard collection. Postcards are wonderful examples of graphic design on a small scale and can provide layout ideas for card making or scrapbooking. Long before computers, artists for the Teich Postcard Company were creating postcards. Find out what tricks and techniques they used, then discover how to craft a card of your own using concepts from postcard design.

Participants should supply the following materials for their own use: Craft scissors or paper cutter. Also recommended: scrapbooking glue, fine point markers or pens.
