The Foglia YMCA is celebrating Healthy Kids Day®, April 28, 10 am to Noon with a free community event that will help families find fun through active play and educational opportunities to improve health and well-being. Healthy Kids Day will offer a variety of activities to inspire kids and parents alike to take advantage of summer and give them the tools to grow and achieve.
The Day’s Events Include:
- Hey Kids, Touch a Truck and Meet Your Hometown Heroes. Explore, touch, and learn about a real Fire Truck, Ambulance, 7-ton Army vehicle, and more!
- LifeSource Blood Drive in the Foglia YMCA Teen Center from 9am – 1pm
- Family Walk at the Foglia YMCA
- Adopt a Puppy from the Green Pup Shelter, 9am - Noon in the Foglia YMCA North Lobby.
- Tiny Tumblers class preview
- Healthy Snacks
- Hula Hooping
- A group of Lake Zurich 7th graders who perform "trick" basketball shots.
- Rock Wall
- Moon Bounce
