The Lake Zurich Area Chamber will conduct an informal Information Session on it's 5th annual Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) on Thursday, June 14, 2012, from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., at the Ela Area Public Library, 275 Mohawk Trail, Lake Zurich. YEA! is a school-year long, after school program for students in grades 6 - 12. Throughout the year local business leaders instruct, mentor, and lead students through the process of starting their own real business - from helping them come up with an idea, conduct market research, develop a business plan, present the plan to a panel of investors, submit appropriate legal paperwork, and actually launch a business. This Info Session will explain in greater detail what students learn, when and where classes are held, and how to enroll. It is Free and open to any student or parent of students in grades 6 - 12. For more information about the YEA! program visit: www.YEALakeZurich.com or contact Dale Perrin at the Chamber office at 847-438-5572.
