Where/When:  Waters Edge Waldorf School, 150 W. Bonner Rd., Wauconda; noon- 2 p.m., Friday, March 18.

Why Go?: Parents and children ages 2-5 are invited to experience a busy morning baking homemade bread, playing, participating in circle time, having a snack and watching a puppet show. Parents will tour the school, talk to other parents and learn about a Waldorf education.

Why Go?: The Palatine Park District's Class Act Youth Theater presents this play that tells a story about how friendship, ingenuity and a little magic can help solve a young girl's problem.
