Fury Continues Over the College of DuPage's Secret Six-Figure Severance Deal
A plump taxpayer-funded early retirement package for COD's President causes uproar.

The College of DuPage board of trustees on Jan. 28 approved a $762,000 taxpayer-funded buyout agreement for the community college’s president, Robert Breuder.
Despite calls from the public, faculty and students, and lawmakers from both sides of the aisle, the board reaffirmed its decision with a 6-1 vote.
Now area House Republicans as well as Democrats are proposing legislation to prevent these inexcusable and excessive payouts from happening again.
