GODSPELL
SELLING OUT FAST! Presented by Spotlight Youth Theater February 20-March 1 at Prairie Lakes Theater in Des Plaines
Music and lyrics by Wicked composer Stephen Schwartz, Godspell is one of the biggest, off-Broadway and Broadway successes of all time. This dazzling musical is based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew, and features a powerful score. Spotlight’s production of Godspell has been updated (based on the 2012 revival), and boasts a string of well-loved songs, led by the international hit, “Day By Day.” As the cast performs “Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord,” “All for the Best,” “All Good Gifts,” “Light of the World” and “By my Side,” the parables of Jesus Christ will come to life in a new and vibrant way.
Spotlight Youth Theater’s mission is “Reflecting Christ through the Performing Arts,” and there is no better show than this to fulfill this mission.
Performances will be at Prairie Lakes Community Center, 515 East Thacker, in Des Plaines, and tickets start at only $9 each! Group prices are available as well, but act fast – shows sell out very quickly!
