Hawthorn Woods Athlete Named Southeastern Conference Defender of the Week
Ali Hall, University of Tennessee defender, helped her team post their third straight shutout.
Eclipse Select Soccer Club alumna and University of Tennessee senior defender Ali Hall (Hawthorn Woods, a Stevenson High School graduate) helped the Lady Vols post their third straight shutout and ninth of the season.
For her efforts, Hall was named SEC Defender of the Week.
Hall played the full 180 minutes this past weekend as Tennessee posted a 10-0 win against defending SEC regular-season champion South Carolina and a 1-0 victory against defender SEC Tournament champion Auburn.
The center back Hall helped keep USC's top point scorer Courtney Angotti-Smith without a shot while holding Auburn's top scorer Tatiana Coleman to only one shot attempt.
