Visitation for Irene Szczecinski (nee Luberda), 89, of Lake Zurich formerly of Chicago will be from 1 pm until time of Memorial Service at 4 pm on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. She was born August 6, 1924 in Chicago and passed away, Friday, March 14, 2014 in Lake Zurich and worked many years in the Lake Zurich School District 95. Irene was the beloved wife of the late Robert Sr.; mother of Robert Szczecinski Jr. and Cynthia O’Leary; grandmother of Stephen Szczecinski; and aunt of Dolly Olszewski. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
