The Lake Zurich varsity football team is headed to the playoffs.
Lake Zurich High School, a No. 1 seed, will play Elk Grove Village, a No. 16 seed, in the first round of the 7A Illinois High School Association (IHSA) playoffs at 1 p.m. Nov. 2. The game will be in Lake Zurich.
Lake Zurich went 8-1 this season, according to the IHSA.
