Lake Zurich Junior Golfer Competes
A Lake Zurich junior golfer took 30th at a golf event this summer.
Lake Zurich 13-year-old Konnor Dean took 30th in his age group at the recent Junior Golf Association's Youth Development Program Event, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Dean competed in the Boys 12-13 group at the event at Old Orchard country Club in Mount Prospect, July 31. At the 18-hole event, Dean shot a 24 over par 94.
There were 42 golfers competing for points in the race for Youth Development Program Player of the Year.
